The place we moved into several areas that need major. Simple things are clean, but now it is taken with weeds. I have a 3×3 dirt in front with a very small bush moved and a small tree that can be removed. What can I do in this place? I thought perhaps save the grass, as silly as mowing a 3×3 square can be. In addition, my driveway is lined with cement blocks … the kind with holes in it. The holes are filled, and I'd be able to plant flowers in them. Any ideas for these areas? Just ground cover? Plants? Flowers? I like to keep things simple to care (by adding potted plants in court). The maintenance need not be minimal, perhaps several hours per week. climate here is pretty fair. This is not snow, yet (think really rain) … but I imagine it's start at the end of the month or early December. I can start planting at the beginning of spring.
